Thanks for visiting my fundraising page in support of Network in Solidarity with the People of Guatemala (NISGUA)!
NISGUA does absolutely critical work elevating the capacity of partner organizations in Guatemala who seek to create a more just, prosperous, and peaceful society for all, a Guatemala where human rights and environmental protection are consistently guaranteed. It is my hope to one day serve as an International Accompanier working on the ground in Guatemala in solidarity with partner organizations. For the past year, I have been active in NISGUA as a monthly financial supporter and event planner.
This year, NISGUA is celebrating 40 years of accompaniment, cross-border organizing, and relationship-building. It is an honor to celebrate this lineage. In commemoration of these four decades, from May 15 - 31, NISGUA has an opportunity to raise $100,000 to sustain our people-to-people organizing for social and environmental justice. I’m committed to helping NISGUA meet this goal and have challenged myself to raise $1,000. Can I count on your support?
