Please join me in supporting the Network in Solidarity with the People of Guatemala. Though I’ve only just started working with them, I’ve already seen how crucial their work is in defending democracy and land on behalf of the people of Guatemala in the face of powerful business interests.
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for NISGUA. The work that we do has an outsized impact on a per-dollar basis, because our partner organizations provide the manpower, expertise, and perspectives needed to work in defense of land and territory, and seek justice and accountability for past wrongs. What they need, and what NISGUA provides, is logistical assistance and a voice to the world at large. NISGUA’s voice on the international stage ensures that our partners cannot simply be beaten down by threats and violence, and amplifies those voices within Guatemala and internationally.
