Hi everyone!
NISGUA has been an important part of my life for years. I was an accompanier with them in 2019, I recently made stickers of all their partners to promote their struggles, and I participated in a panel on "internationalism" with other activists, artists and academics!
I believe in NISGUA's work and ask that you help me help them by donating to my $300 goal! May 15-31, a small group of donors pledged to match all gifts up
to $50,000, totaling $100,000. This is ONE THIRD of our entire annual budget.
As Israel’s genocide against Palestine rages on, I feel the connections deeply. Today, NISGUA is accompanying the Ixil Genocide Trial, where a decades-long NISGUA partner — the Association for Justice and Reconciliation — seeks justice for genocide committed against them by the Guatemalan state, with Israeli support, 40 years ago. NISGUA accompanies survivors of genocide, but also those struggling against current genocide, like Students for Justice in Palestine in the U.S.
